Game In Development

Hello! Welcome to Lana's Lab, a work in progress tile-matching puzzle game where you play as Lana's assistant, helping her solve puzzles to aid her research efforts!

I'm developing this game for fun. I would love to hear suggestions and feedback!

How to play

• Use the D-pad to move the cursor.
• Use the crank (or A + Left/Right) to rotate the tiles clockwise or counterclockwise

Gameplay Features:

• Tile Matching Puzzles: Use your problem-solving skills to match tiles using the Playdate's crank
• Sanitize Bacteria: Cleanse Lana's lab environment by matching tiles adjacent to bacteria, keeping the workspace germ-free
• Time Attack Mode: Match tiles and clean bacteria as fast as possible to reach a high score
• Multiple levels: Currently the game has 48 levels

Platform: PlayDate

Lana's Lab is exclusively designed for the PlayDate device, providing a unique gaming experience that utilizes the device's innovative crank mechanism.

This game is a lore spin-off of Rio In Space, one of my upcoming games.

Version 0.0.3

• New 'Time Attack' objective mode in which blocks keep being created. You have to reach a certain number of matches to pass the level. Playable in Levels 18-22.
• New Vertical and Horizontal bombs for more varied puzzles. Playable in Levels 39-42.
• 8 new puzzle levels (48 total)
• All experiments are available to begin with. This is to not have to replay all levels every time
• Experiment screen has been updated to show the type of objective (Experiment, Sanitization and Time-Attack)

• New 'Experiments' Menu for selecting levels
• Progress saved every time a puzzle is finished
• Game now tracks best number of moves on each puzzle and assign a number of stars depending on the least number of moves done
• Pressing B now allows Undoing your moves, but keep in mind that Undoing counts as a move and will make your scoring of stars harder
• Added 'Reset Level' option to menu during puzzle levels
• Added 2 new music tracks, the 3 total tracks will cycle every 90 seconds
• 5 new puzzle levels sprinkled throughout
